UDFS - User defined fields

GMA users can augment the application's pre-defined data fields with their own custom data via the User Defined Fields module (UDFs).  GMA provides an extensive user configurable means to capture, record, and search UDFs.  This feature is used to accommodate custom data important and necessary for your business.

Key UDF Features:
  • Categories to help you organize your data.

  • 25 Text fields each with a 30 character length.

  • 20 Number fields supporting currency values.

  • 20 Date fields.

  • 30 Boolean fields for yes/no, true/false, on/off values.

  • Values section for editing and maintaining value lists for text fields.

  • Limit data entry to values in the drop down list.

  • Plus many, many more features

Example:

A golf store or pro shop may want to keep a customer's club dexterity, gender, ball preference, etc.  The data can be used to target golfers with specific offerings based on their buying habits and preferences.
