system requirements for Touché

Touché has been developed specifically for Windows XP,  Vista, Windows 7 and tested extensively with those operating systems.  We make no guarantees about compatibilities with older operating systems.  Having said that, essentially, if you can run Order Manager, you should be able to run Touché .  Touché has a very sophisticated user interface and some of those interface elements may not render properly with older Windows operating systems.  This will not affect the reports, however, as they should still print correctly.

Basically, if you can run Windows XP,  Vista, Windows 7 on your computer then you will have no problem running Touché .  The following are suggestions for hardware specifications which will improve your user experience with both Windows and Touché.

Supported Operating Systems:

• Windows XP 32 or 64 bit

• Windows Vista 32 or 64 bit

• Windows 7 32 or 64 bit

Processor:

As mentioned earlier, if you can run Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7 then your processor is sufficient to run Touché.  For a better user experience though,  you may want to consider a computer using an Intel dual core or AMD X2 or higher.  Touché features back ground printing and process threading which benefits greatly and improves the speed and performance when more processor cores are present.

Memory:

• Windows XP:  2 GB, but will run fine on 1 GB memory.

• Windows Vista:  3 GB, but will run fine on 2 GB memory

• Windows 7:  3 GB, but will run fine on 2 GB memory

Hard Disk:

• Approximately 30 MB for the Touché program files.

Video Graphics Adapter:

Touché does not have any specific requirement for a VGA card.  The graphical nature of Touché's user interface will benefit from higher quality graphics adapters with faster processors and more memory.  Touché has been thoroughly tested on lower end computers with integrated graphics adapter and passed all of our usability tests.
