Connecting to your Monsoon
Database |
|
|

When your first launch Communiqué, a log-in
screen like the one on the right will appear. The log-in
screen is used to log-in to your monsoon database.
By default, all of the values are filled in
except for the Server. Click on the down arrow for the
drop down edit box to view a list of available servers.
Pick the server where your Monsoon database reside (you will
need to select the correct server name before you can continue).
The remaining values are filled in and are
considered default values. Unless those values were
changed for your Monsoon installation, they should work for you.
If any of those default values are different then you will need
to set them to the correct value. You will not be able to
log-in and connect to your Monsoon database if any of those
values are incorrect.
Once connected, the connection data will be saved
so you do not have to re-enter those values when you log-in
again.
If any of this info changes, you will need to
select/re-enter whatever log-in info changed since you last
connected. For example: The database name was
changed since the last time you logged-in. You will need
to enter the new database name in order to log-in since the old
database name is no longer valid.
If you are having difficulty connecting to your
Monsoon database, please contact us at
tech support
so we can help you with connecting Communiqué
for Monsoon. |
